ABOUT RAY

Ray Moore, Jr. was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, where he built a life defined by hard work, faith, and a heart for community. Starting as a foreman and rising through the ranks to become a managing partner and COO, Ray brings over 30 years of hands-on leadership in industries ranging from oil and gas to manufacturing to municipal infrastructure. He's overseen multi-million-dollar projects for cities and towns across the South always focused on building things that last, from strong infrastructure to strong communities.

Ray is a devoted husband to Elizabeth and proud father to two adult children, Ray III (married to Brooke) and Cari (married to Jonathan), and deceased infant daughter Alecia. He's also "Pappy" to five wonderful grandchildren who light up his life and remind him daily why the future matters so much.

Ray and Elizabeth made their move to Gulf Shores in June 2024, but the dream started decades earlier. Elizabeth first discovered Gulf Shores on a beach trip with friends in 2001-and from that moment on, she hoped one day they'd call this place home. That dream came true, and today Ray is proud to say they're not just residents-they're deeply rooted in this small town, big beach community of Gulf Shores.

Family is everything to Ray. He helped his mother-in-law, Clare, relocate to Gulf Shores so she could be nearby and lovingly cared for. Now he's preparing to welcome his parents, Diane and Ray Sr., who are moving to Gulf Shores as well-along with his sister Sarah and her two children. For Ray, there's no greater blessing than having the people he loves close by and part of a community worth investing in.

Rooted in God, guided by principle, and shaped by decades of leadership, Ray Moore is ready to serve Gulf Shores with integrity, accountability, and a clear vision for the future. He's not a politician he's a problem solver, a family man, and a business leader who's ready to get to work for the people of Gulf Shores.

Ray's approach is simple: serve the people, solve problems, and protect what makes Gulf Shores special.
